Brighton Science Festival

Brighton loves many things. Art, culture, diversity, protesting, drinking. But also, science! This February Brighton and Hove shows off its brains to anyone wanting a look, with a month long Science Festival.
Across the city venues are opening their doors to the public and showcasing a range of science themed events, including talks, demonstrations, interactive and child friendly events and even a special scientific cake competition.

Thursday 8th March, 6.30pm (for 7pm start) to 9pm @ BMECP Resource
Centre (Lagoon Room)
If your group works in, with or for one of Brighton & Hove’s many,
varied and wonderful patches of public green space, then you may be
interested to come along to this meeting to link up, learn from and
share with other green space groups from across the city.
Thursday 8th March: Sussex Equality Group — The Friends Meeting House, Brighton, 7pm
Discover how you can play your part in promoting a healthier, happier, more sustainable society.
Saturday 17th to Sunday 18th March: Vegfest UK — The Hove Centre at Hove Town Hall, 11 am – 6 pm

Graduate Internships with Brighton UNIs CUPP Tuesday 3pm

On Monday at 5.30pm Dr. Juliet Millican will be joining us at Radio Free Brighton to discuss the brilliant graduate internship scheme which she run. Dr. Millican, author of books including Student Community Engagement — A Model for the 21st Century? (2007) and Finding Commonality Among Difference — Developing Emotional Literacy Through Experiential Work (2009) will be talking to our very own Jodie about the opportunities available for post grad and graduate students in the community.
